“Acoustic Night of Hope”: The Chayil Foundation to host 2024 edition of fundraising event on July 20

The Chayil Foundation warmly invites you to join us for an enchanting evening at our annual Acoustic Night of Hope on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at Wesley Towers, opposite the UBA Head Office, near the World Trade Centre in Accra.

This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting widows, single mothers, and orphans to achieve financial independence and contribute to the sustenance of their economies through our socio-economic programmes.

“Since its establishment, the foundation has been able to embark on healthcare workshops and screenings, provide seed money to vulnerable people, and give lump sums to businesses to boost their capital to reinvest in their businesses so they can later pay back at an interest-free rate for the time being,” as stated by Eileen Ninson, the Founder and Executive Director of the foundation.

According to Eileen, she decided to support widows, single mothers, and orphans because she realised they are the most vulnerable people in society who need support most.

Coming into the picture to support this category, she indicated that “what we do to support them is to help set them up, give them the relevant skill training they need, which can empower them to fend for themselves.”

Eileen prompted that their compass for operations revolves around the Sustainable Development Goals, which are geared towards poverty eradication, good health, and gender equality. However, she stated that “for now, our primary goal is to cover the coastal areas and some communities in the hinterland.”

“This is our second event. In the first event, which was June 3, 2023, we were able to raise funds that were utilised for side events, so in this second edition of the event, we plan on shedding light on how the first funds were used to impact lives. We will also inform our audience of the plan for the years ahead,” she emphasised.

Affirming the foundation’s priority, she said that in addition to the captivating performances, the event will feature a cocktail hour where guests can enjoy a selection of drinks and appetisers while networking with fellow attendees.

A photo exhibition will also be on display, showcasing the impactful work of the Chayil Foundation and the stories of those the foundation has supported, according to the Founder.
