Nkoranza Rioting: Police Service Finally Visits Family of Deceased
SharePostSendShareSend

The Police Service has announced their visit to the family of the late Albert Donkor-the young man who died in the youth clash with the police.

The family of a 27-year old had earlier condemned the police for not paying them a visit after allegedly shooting to kill their ward.

The Police, in a statement on Sunday, stated that a team led by the Director-General in charge of Administration met with the family of the late Albert.

Details of the meeting were, however, not disclosed.

The late Albert Donkor died in the middle of a clash between the police and irate youths of Nkoranza. He was allegedly an informant in a robbery case in the area and was allegedly shot by the police.

Four (4) people have been arrested and are on remand, but the police said that they are pursuing the others who are involved and those who have escaped custody.
