Police Arrests Soldier, Two Others for Shooting Incident at Zammrama Line

The police have picked a soldier and two (2) others in connection with a shooting incident over an alleged land dispute at Zammrama Line, a suburb of Accra, In

In a statement by the service on Monday, the identities of the other two, who had represented themselves as soldiers, are yet to be confirmed.

According to the police, the soldier, named Sergeant Isaac Abbey, in the company of Godfred Amegbor and Offei Darko, inflicted gunshot wounds on four (4) men, namely Ali Ashley, Akim Zimbo, Salam Musa, and Faisal Khalid during the scuffle.

The injured men sustained various degrees of injuries and have since been receiving treatment at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital.

The statement indicated that investigations are ongoing into the incident, including the particulars of the two shooting men.
