According to him, safety, a fundamental aspect of daily life, requires constant vigilance, education, and practice while protecting individual lives and fostering a culture for business prosperity.
CFO Kuunuor pledged GNFS’ commitment to the awards ceremony, including actively participating in the whole assessment process to guarantee that the highest safety standards are recognised and rewarded.
“The Ghana National Fire Service is fully committed to ensuring the overall success of the National Safety Awards 2024. As part of our keynotes, we will be actively involved in the evaluation and assessment process, providing our expertise to ensure that the highest safety standards are recognised and rewarded,” he said.

“Our officers will also conduct safety workshops and training sessions to further enhance the knowledge and capabilities of participants, ensuring that they are well equipped to maintain improved safety practices across the country,” he remarked, adding that they will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to conduct safety orders and inspections, offering constructive feedback and recommendations to help businesses and organisations elevate their safety protocols.
CFO Kuunuor furthered that their goal is to make the award programme not just a celebration of achievements but also a catalyst for continued improvement in safety standards across the country.
He submitted that the launch was a significant milestone in their journey towards a safer Ghana, emphasising that it sets the tone for the main event scheduled for October 2024, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
In conclusion, CFO Kuunuor expressed his profound gratitude to the organisers of the programme and said he looks forward to more such opportunities.
