The Attorney-General’s Department has withdrawn all charges against Mildred Donkor, the third accused person in the ongoing case involving Advantage Solutions Limited and three individuals standing trial at the High Court in Accra.

In a notice filed on October 15, 2025, and signed by Deputy Attorney-General Dr Justice Srem-Sai, the A-G’s office invoked Section 59 of the Criminal and Other Offences (Procedure) Act, 1960 (Act 30), to discontinue prosecution against Ms Donkor.

“The Honourable Attorney-General has, pursuant to Section 59 of Act 30, withdrawn Mildred Donkor, the 3rd accused person herein, from prosecution in respect of all the charges brought against her in this case,” the notice stated.

The case, titled The Republic v. Kwabena Adu-Boahene, Angela Adjei Boateng, Mildred Donkor, and Advantage Solutions Limited (Suit No. CR/0418/2025), is currently before the High Court (General Jurisdiction Division) in Accra.

While the notice did not provide reasons for the withdrawal, legal analysts note that under Section 59, the Attorney-General has the discretion to terminate proceedings at any stage before judgement is delivered.

The withdrawal means Ms Donkor is no longer facing prosecution, though the case against the remaining three accused persons—Kwabena Adu-Boahene, Angela Adjei Boateng, and Advantage Solutions Limited—remains ongoing.

The case continues before the High Court in Accra.
