The ruling New Patriotic Party has scheduled the launch of their manifesto for the 2024 elections for Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Takoradi in the Western Region.

This was contained in a release signed by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua.

The release also named an 11-member team, chaired by former information minister, Mrs. Oboshie Sai Coffie, who will coordinate activities for the launch.

The manifesto is expected to centre on the multi-sector digitalisation agenda of the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

It will also feature the abolishment of some nuisance taxes and levies, including the e-levy and the 10% betting tax, streamlining of government size, as well as the provision of tax reprieves to businesses as contained in Dr. Bawumia’s vision speech following his election as flagbearer.

At the launch of their campaign of their opposite number, NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama revealed that his party will release its manifesto before the end of August 2024.
