Cynthia Raymond’s life story is a powerful reflection of dedication, passion, and compassion. Born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, she grew up in the culturally rich city of Tema, where the vibrancy of her community and travels across the country shaped her worldview. Her early experiences nurtured a strong sense of belonging, curiosity, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to society.

Fuelled by a passion for learning and service, Cynthia pursued higher education in the United States, earning a combined Bachelor’s and Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, in December 2010.

Over the past 15 years, her career as an occupational therapist has been defined by excellence and empathy. She has served diverse communities across multiple U.S. states, delivering skilled and relatable healthcare services. Her professional foundation was strengthened through training in renowned institutions, including Johns Hopkins University Hospital and Penn Medicine.

As a visionary leader and social entrepreneur, Cynthia established LynneX Ventures, a dynamic platform focused on promoting arts, culture, entertainment, wellness initiatives, and community health. Through this organization, she has pioneered sustainable community engagement, bridging cultural gaps and fostering inclusive environments.

One of her notable achievements was facilitating the historic 2023 maiden visit of international reggae artist Hezron Clarke to Ghana. This milestone event deepened cultural ties and amplified shared values of unity, peace, and heritage. Their partnership has since evolved into impactful international projects and tours centred on cultural exchange, community support, and humanitarian outreach.

Cynthia’s selfless commitment to service has earned her numerous accolades over the years. In 2024, she received the U.S. Presidential Volunteer Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her extraordinary contribution of more than 500 volunteer hours. She was also conferred the title of Commander of the Most Excellent Order of International Experts (COIE) by Word of Life Christian Fellowship and CICA International University and Seminary for her expertise in occupational therapy.

Her distinguished humanitarian efforts were further celebrated at the 3G Media Awards 2025, where she was honoured with the prestigious Danny Glover Power of Dream Award. This award acknowledges her exceptional work in humanitarian advocacy and her continuous drive to uplift communities through media, health, and cultural initiatives. The recognition reflects her vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to creating positive change.

Guided by values of integrity, resilience, kindness, and global philanthropy, Cynthia continues to champion initiatives that empower individuals and strengthen communities. Her latest undertaking, the launch of the global “Save the Children” Campaign in 2025, reinforces her mission to give every child the chance to thrive, ensuring they experience joy, opportunity, and a hopeful future.

The recent honour bestowed upon Ms. Cynthia Raymond, at the prestigious 3G Media Awards, has elevated her public standing and formal recognition within the community. The award, which celebrates outstanding leadership and impactful service, has positioned her among distinguished figures whose contributions continue to inspire both at home and abroad.

Following this achievement, Ms. Raymond now carries the esteemed title “Her Excellency,” a designation befitting her influence and commitment to humanitarian work. This new ranking not only reflects her exceptional accomplishments but also signifies the respect and admiration she has earned across various professional and philanthropic circles.

Cynthia Raymond stands as a symbol of leadership, compassion, and global impact, an inspiring force committed to making the world a healthier, more connected, and more humane place.
