NDC in Daboya/Mankarigu Constituency on the 17th of December, 2023 held an inaugural ceremony for the members of the working committees of the constituency.

The high-spirited occasion saw in attendance many dignified personalities who came from far and near to grace the occasion and also took that as an opportunity to deliver speeches to the committee and available party members.

The chairman of the ceremony, Hon. Sammy Wusah, emphasised the importance of working hard and in unity to be able to fetch the Daboya/Mankarigu seat from the inept NPP MP.

The regional chairman of the NDC, Alhaj Imoro, alias Chairman Man Blessing, who served as the special guest of honour for the occasion, stressed the need to work hard in order to achieve Agenda 7/7 for the Savannah region.

He spoke on the need to remain resolute and united for us to achieve our aim.

The regional chairman advised that each member of the NDC contribute their own quota, no matter how little it is, to make it a success.

He reminded us that the NDC is bigger than any individual, and so everyone should work for the common interest of the NDC.

The members of the various committees have been made to understand that being a committee member is not an easy task; hence, all should brace themselves, for the task ahead is really cumbersome.

All members of the NDC have been asked to make sure NDC candidates win in Tuesday’s Assembly elections, as that is what we shall be using to test the waters against the 2024 general elections.

The constituency chairman assured the regional chairman and all members that he and his executives would do all they could to make sure the Daboya/Mankarigu seat was won back to the NDC.

He cautioned members to avoid comments that are divisive and work together in cohesion to achieve good results.

An opportunity was given to the immediate former parliamentary candidate aspirant for the constituency, Mr. Mohammed Iddrisu Abe. He spoke extensively on how important winning back the seat is and has pledged his allegiance to the course of the NDC.
He promised to put up all his efforts, resources, and strength to make sure the NDC comes back to power.

The parliamentary candidate for Daboya/Mankarigu Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Lawyer Shaibu Mahama Obei, was overly elated for the support of people, especially those who drove from several kilometres just to be a part of the programme.
He called on everyone in the NDC faithful to make winning back the seat a priority, and he promised to work effectively with everyone to make it a success.

The NDC in Daboya/Mankarigu constituency is stronger than ever, and failure to win the seat is not an option.
Other key speakers include Mr. Amos Bahie, Madam Jennifer, a Pro Forum Coordinator, Hon. VIP, Mr. B, Madam Hawawu, and several other dignified personalities.

They all stressed the importance of party unity and hard work. Madam Hawawu suggested the operation Win Your Polling Station (WYPS) be instituted, and all committee members should take it as a challenge.

The NDC is coming back to power, and it will all hinge on our hard work.

We thank every person who made time out of their busy schedules to attend and all those who made the occasion a success.

May Allah continue to bless you all.

Long live NDC.
Long live Daboya/Mankarigu Constituency.

Signed
