The Ministry of Finance has officially relocated its offices from the Ministries enclave to Kanda in Accra, describing the move as part of broader efforts to strengthen efficiency and improve public service delivery.

The Ministry’s new physical address is now on Tumu Avenue, Kanda–Accra, with a digital address of GV-002-6511. However, it said its postal address remains unchanged as P.O. Box MB 40, Ministries, Accra.

In a press release issued on Thursday, February 6, 2026, the Ministry announced that full operations at the new premises would commence on Monday, February 9, 2026.

According to the statement, the relocation is intended to enhance “the operational efficiency, coordination, and responsiveness of the Ministry in the discharge of its mandate.”

The Ministry further clarified that “the new office facility at Kanda was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority prior to the current administration assuming office,” underscoring that the project predates the present government.

“All official correspondence, visits, and inquiries should henceforth be directed to the new location,” the statement added.
