A former Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Michael Kwabena Ntumy, has died at age 65.
This is according to reports from the social media pages of senior officers of the church.
He was the fourth chairman of the Church of Pentecost from 1998 to 2008.
Apostle Ntumy, who has been battling an undisclosed illness for many years, succumbed to death in the early hours of Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his home in Germany.
The revered man of God is renowned for having overcome numerous hardships, such as being taken prisoner by insurgents during the Liberian Civil War in 1990 and other assaults, including paralysis that left him confined to a wheelchair.
In September 2023, an emotional retirement service was held in his honour in Hamburg, Germany, bringing to an end his 39-year service to the church.
He was married to his wife, Martha, and they were blessed with children.
