It also reflects a proactive approach in addressing the unique security needs of the area and in building a stronger partnership between the university and the police service.
Mr. Yohuno assured the UPSA community that the Police Service will do its best to enforce law and order and maintain peace to the best of its ability and that the post will be used for its intended purpose.
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Professor John Kweku Mensah Mawutor, said there is always a need to partner with the police to help them carry out their mandate, which is why the school decided to invest in providing a post on land given by the government.
