“I Don’t Know Where You Studied English From” – Sonnie Badu Expresses Dissatisfaction with Metro TV’s Twitter Caption
SharePostSendShareSend

International Gospel Artiste, Dr. Sonnie Badu, has critiqued the choice of words by Metropolitan TV’s Twitter Handler on Tuesday, during the latter’s captioning of his rejection of claims he had received USD 50,000 from organizers of the National Cathedral Fund Raising launch.

The TV station captioned the Tweet as follows:

National Cathedral Fundraising Saga:  @SonnieBaduuk denies taking $50k for performance

#NewsNight

…which wording suggested that the artiste has received the money, only refusing or unwilling to confirm.

The musician, who seemed displeased with the caption retweeted with a response as follows:

I don’t know where you studied English from, do you know the meaning of deny?

The management team of the award-winning artiste on Tuesday evening issued a statement  to dissociate themselves from the allegations of receiving USD 50 000 from the organizers of the Cathedral Fund raising launch in the USA.
