Ebito Boduong, brother of popular Ghanaian TV actress and model Moesha Boduong, has confirmed social media rumours that her sister is down with a stroke.

Earlier last week, Moesha was alleged to have fallen down and gone into a coma in her home after clubbing the night before.

With the hashtag #prayforMoesha trending on social media, social media users asked for prayers for Moesha, who a few years ago announced that she was now a born-again Christian.

However, in a statement soliciting financial assistance via GoFundMe, Ebito disclosed that her sister is suffering from a stroke, affecting her ability to move and talk.

“Hi I’m Ebito, my sister Moesha Bodoung recently experienced a life-altering stroke, and her journey to recovery has just begun. The impact of the stroke on her life has been immense, affecting her mobility, speech, and overall quality of life. But we believe in the power of God, love, support, and community to bring about positive change,” Ebito said.

“By contributing to this campaign, you will be directly supporting my sister’s rehabilitation journey. These funds will be used to cover medical expenses, therapy sessions, assistive devices, and any other resources needed to aid her recovery,” he added.

Moesha has been criticised by some for her grooming patterns and “artificial” body enhancements.
