The National Democratic Congress will launch its manifesto today, 24th August, at the University of Education, Winneba.
Billed to start at 12 p.m., the launch is expected to draw leading figures of the party across the country, with flag bearer John Dramani Mahama and running mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman as the headline personalities.
As revealed in recent engagements of the party, the NDC manifesto is expected to feature a review of the Free SHS policy, cancellation of the teacher licensure exams, and an announcement of a $10 billion infrastructure fund.
The manisfesto is also likely to highlight the establishment of a women’s development bank.
Earlier this month, the party unveiled what is termed the “Youth Manifesto,” which targets, among other things, sponsoring the academic fees of entry-level tertiary students.
Last Sunday, the ruling NPP launched its “Bold Solutions” manifesto in Takoradi, largely focused on job creation and private sector growth.
