The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the re-opening of its service registration portal, following a forensic audit that found major deficiencies in the old system.
According to the Authority, the audit was ordered by President Nana Akufo-Addo after technical and data integrity concerns emerged within the Central Service Management Platform (CSMP).
“The audit found the system unsatisfactory. Consequently, the Authority was directed to design and deploy a new, more robust digital platform to guarantee transparency, security, and real-time verification,” the NSA said in a statement on Tuesday, October 7.
As part of the reforms, all registrations completed on the old portal since June 2025 have been declared null and void, and every prospective national service personnel must re-register on the new platform.
The NSA assured that “all legitimate registrants will get a refund of their service fees,” and directed applicants to the new website, www.gnsa.gov.gh, to complete their registration.
Online registration for the 2025/2026 service year opens Wednesday, October 8, and closes Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
The Authority also announced that the official service year will begin on Monday, November 3, 2025, with all personnel expected to report to their assigned stations by Saturday, November 1.
