Poem: “I Killed Me” by Prince Arkoh

I KILLED ME.

Each time I see the red flag
I see it as a nag
‘Cause I don’t wish to jog
Due to presence of fog
All I do is snog.

Each time my heart disagrees
Yet my head agrees
While my body presses
As it keeps on with the suppress
Leaving me in shock and surprise.

I’ve been digging my own grave
‘Cause I’m blinded by love
Not knowing it’s depth
Hitting the rock bottom I’m
But with minimal pain.

I’m responsible for killing me
Since I’m too trusting
Always having high hopes
That get shattered
Without a single move being made.

It’s high time I bury me
Twelve feet under will do
Since six feet under
Leads to my resurrection
While I wanna be forgotten completely!
