I NEED TO REMEMBER

Tell me when you kept it sacred,

For us to only share it,

Remind me of how it felt to be in your purity,

How it felt to feel you just for me,

Give me a tale of how once I termed you my favorite,

How I could feel the entanglement of these hearts even though we were miles away from each other,

How despite everything,

Your pain was mine and mine yours,

Imagine letting our worlds fall for another to be formed,

Killing us just in the name of silence,

I thought we were more better than that,

I thought we tried harder than just a mere silence,

Remind me of how your smiles used to be contagious,

How about you whisper to me in the wind then,

The way you used to call and chat over night like we owned the nights,

A crescent was a witness to our connection never leaving the stars out of this context,

We made vows remember,skies used to give us reasons for wishes too,

But all of this just faded away,

All those cute names dominated our love realm,

We ruled over our worlds even though we had not enough,

We learned to make our days bow to our smiles even though some didn’t,

I need to remember us,

Coz thats the only way my sanity will be regained.
