REMEMBER WHEN!

Remember when we Met each other

It was like love flowing from one mother

I smiled, you smiled back

The day was our good luck

Said hi and our hearts were racing high

The feeling we can’t forget till we die

Remember when we had our first kiss

The heaven I always miss

Holding each other close

I said you were my rose

Looked into each other’s eyes

It felt in love we were baptized

Remember when we would take a walk

Together always having something to talk

In woods and on the road

Everything having a secret code

Bravely but feared the eyes around

For some were happy yet others’ hate would sound

Remember when you would visit now and then

And we were rated ten out of ten

Hearts filled with love and joy

With nothing to destroy

The couples of years

Our names trending in their ears

Remember when we would make love

And it felt was the true love

Hearts pumping love in blood

Veins all over showing the flood

To each other we would smile

Holding together for a while

Remember when you were in pain and cry

And I felt I would also die

The care and love that enclosed us

In times of good, bad, all seasons plus

We were each other’s hope

The Savior ropes

Remember when we would talk of kids

When to plant our own seeds

How to name them

How to take care of their stems

A lovely home together

By each other’s side forever

Remember how sweet we were

Hard in anything to defer

Truly you were my one

A medal I won

Remember all

Remember before the fall.
