Police invite socialite A-Plus to assist in investigations into Ahmed Suale’s death

The Ghana Police Service has invited Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, to assist them with an ongoing investigation into the killing of journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

A-Plus, last Saturday, claimed in a live video that he is in the know of the persons behind the gruesome murder of the former Tiger Eye PI investigative journalist.

“The Ghana Police Service has today, 15th July 2024, invited Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as (A-Plus) to assist Police ongoing investigation into the death of Ahmed Suale, following his recent claims on social media that he has some information regarding the case.”

“The Cold Case Unit established in October 2021, under the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to handle cases of this nature has been working on the investigation into the case and closely engaging with the deceased’s family.”

“The Police is therefore pleased that Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng (A-Plus) has made indication that he has some information that could assist the ongoing investigation, and he has been invited accordingly,” the police revealed in a statement.

Meanwhile, A-Plus has confirmed the invitation from the police.

On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, Ahmed Suale was shot three times by unknown persons riding a motorbike in Madina, a suburb of Accra. He was wounded once in the neck and twice in the chest.
