The Savannah Region office of the New Patriotic Party has held the vetting process for aspirants in orphan constituencies at Damongo.
Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana, Regional Chairman of the Party, who spoke on behalf of the vetting committee, said the eleven parliamentary aspirants who filled out the various orphan constituencies have all been cleared to contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries on December 2.
He added that aspirants should join hands in winning seats for the party after the primaries.
The orphan constituencies in the Savannah Region are Yapei/Kusawgu, Bole/Bamboi, Sawla/Tuna, and Salaga South Constituencies.
Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana indicated that the National Democratic Congress cannot withstand the ruling New Patriotic Party in terms of developments and has no message for the people of Ghana in 2024.
“I will add more seats for the New Patriotic Party in the Savannah Region to weaken the wings of the National Democratic Congress,” he pledged.
The process was chaired by the National Communications Director of the NPP, Richard Ahiagbah.
