The Tamale High Court has ruled that Bole Wura has no authority over the Jahori lands.
The court, presided over by His Lordship Justice Richard Mac Kogyapwah, has ruled that Bole Wura has been restrained from interfering in the peaceful enjoyment by occupants of the lands within Jahori.
Bole Wura is henceforth restrained, pending the final determination of this suit, to enskin or escort anybody to the area of litigation as a Chief.
The Tamale High Court has accordingly placed an injunction on the land until there is a resolution of the substantive case as regards the rightful owners of the lands.
Speaking to the press, counsel for the Jahori Clan, Stephen Obeng Darko, said the plaintiff, who is the Bole wura, is prevented from taking any act of interference in the land and people of Jahori.
He revealed that the court further maintained that what is currently prevailing is the judgement of October 27, 2021, which stated that everyone was to comply with the order.
