The Office of the Special Prosecutor has noted that his office is still inquiring into the alleged cash dealings of former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah.
The OSP revealed further on Wednesday that it has so far conducted searches at two residential homes of Ms. Dapaah.
It stated that it would update the public on any news developments regarding the investigations.
“The OSP is still conducting its investigations. The public will be briefed on the outcome of the investigations when they are concluded, including any further steps the Office may take.”
On Monday, the OSP arrested Ms. Dapaah for suspected corruption and corruption-related offenses in respect of sums of money and other valuables allegedly stolen from her house.
Officials from the Office were reportedly dispatched to the Apelemkpe home for further interrogation and search.
Reacting to public criticisms of her keeping huge sums of money in her house, Ms. Dapaah stated that the information in the public domain doesn’t present a true picture of what she and her husband reported to the Police after the allegation of stealing by their househelps.
