NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama will address Ghanaians tonight at 7:30 pm on the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) comprehensive plans to “Reset Ghana” with a focus on good governance and accountability.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, October 31, Mr. Mahama said the address is part of the NDC’s ongoing ‘Governance Forum’, which aims to outline the party’s initiatives to steer the country toward greater transparency and justice.
According to Mahama, Ghana’s current governance landscape is at a critical juncture, marred by what he describes as “injustice eating our society away” and an economy that continues to bring hardship to millions of Ghanaians.
The former president expressed a strong belief that Ghana’s socio-economic challenges stem from governance issues that demand immediate and strategic reforms.
“Tonight’s Governance Forum is an opportunity to highlight our initiatives to enhance accountability,” Mahama shared, emphasising the NDC’s commitment to fostering an environment where public institutions uphold their mandate to serve the people.
