The Institute for Liberty and Economic Education (ILEE), a non-partisan policy think tank, is hosting its flagship annual event, the 2025 Ghana Economic Summit, today, Friday, November 7, 2025, in Accra.
The summit brings together key figures in Ghana’s economic landscape, including policymakers, government officials and private sector leaders, and is regarded as an important platform for rigorous, evidence-based dialogue on national economic policy.
This year’s summit is being held on the theme “From Policy to Prosperity: Building a Framework for Ghana’s Economic Future.” The discussions will focus on how high-level policy commitments can be translated into tangible and sustainable economic growth across the country.
ILEE, which advocates for individual liberty, free markets and property rights, aims to use the forum to drive forward market-oriented solutions to Ghana’s most pressing development challenges.
The event is scheduled to take place at 1:00 PM GMT at the Coconut Grove Hotel in North Ridge, Accra. Participants are expected to include senior government representatives, economic policymakers, industry stakeholders, business leaders and development practitioners.
The invitation to participants, signed by Eric Coffie, President of ILEE, highlighted the importance of their presence in shaping the outcomes of the dialogue. The communication emphasized that the perspectives of invited stakeholders will help ensure that the deliberations reflect pressing national priorities and influence policy direction.
“Your participation is crucial for ensuring the success and policy relevance of this national discourse,” the invitation note stated.
The 2025 Ghana Economic Summit is expected to produce actionable recommendations and strategic proposals aimed at enhancing Ghana’s economic resilience, strengthening institutional capacity and fostering inclusive growth.
