ACI Ghana visits NPRA

In a quest to establish positive relationships with relevant stakeholders, ACI Ghana – Financial Markets Association has called on the leadership of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA).

Led by its President, Lawrence Osilaja Boampong, the ACI Ghana delegation met with the Deputy CEO of the Authority, Mr. David Tetteh-Amey Abbey.

The delegation engaged in fruitful discussions on various areas of collaboration and mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of periodic brainstorming sessions between the association and the NPRA, including a possible training collaboration.

ACI Ghana expressed its commitment to supporting the NPRA in ensuring the security of pensions and contributing towards rebuilding investor confidence in the financial market.

“We are excited about the potential collaboration between ACI Ghana and the NPRA as we work towards our common goal of enhancing the financial market landscape in Ghana. Together, we can make a positive impact on pensions, investor confidence, and the overall growth of our industry”, ACI Ghana said in a statement on July 18, 2023.

For its part, the NPRA expressed its willingness to work with ACI Ghana, adding that its doors are always open to the association for any possible collaboration.

Other members of the ACI Ghana team were Stephen Biritwum (Secretary), Kofi Koduah-Sarpong (Head, Money Markets and Education Committees), and Naomi Tetteh (Administrative Assistant).

Officials from the NPRA who were in the meeting included Yvonne Osei Gyau (Legal Director), Madam Druissilla Frimpong (Human Resource Director), John Mbroh (S & C Director), Kwame Kissiedu (Senior Manager PRME), Edward Biney (Assistant Manager S & C), Roland Addico (Assistant Manager- PRME), Florence Opoku (Assistant Manager S & C), Lois Asiamah (Assistant Manager S & C), Akua Annang Afriyie (Assistant Manager L & R), and Gifty Alale-Akutek (Risk and Research Manager).
