The Electoral Commission has revised its publication of the number of registered voters for Days 2 and 3 in the limited registration exercise.

The revision came after the Director of Elections of the NDC, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, challenged reported figures for the two days on the Commission’s media platforms.

Dr. Boamah, in an X post on Monday, May 13, 2024, observed that 19,267 should be the total number of registered voters for Day 2 (8th May), not 25,287, while the total tally for Day 3 (9th May) per their records is 48,616 as compared with 43,417 supplied by the EC.

However, in a post on Monday, May, 13, 2024, the EC affirmed the challenge of Dr. Omane Boamah, reporting a new set of figures.
