The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has issued a public warning over the circulation of fraudulent recruitment and contract advertisements purportedly linked to the institution.
In a statement released by Management, GETFund clarified that it has not authorised any such adverts, many of which are being shared on social media platforms. The Fund described these materials as “cleverly designed” scams intended to deceive and extort money from unsuspecting individuals.
“GETFund does not solicit for potential contractors, suppliers, or employees via these scandalous processes,” the statement noted, urging the public to exercise caution and verify any such information through the Fund’s official communication channels, including its website and verified social media handles.
The Fund further encouraged individuals who encounter these fraudulent adverts to report them to the nearest police station or to the GETFund Secretariat located at East Legon, opposite the Trinity Theological Seminary.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and ethical engagement, GETFund emphasised that it operates under sound corporate governance principles and does not engage in clandestine recruitment or procurement activities.
Members of the public are therefore advised not to engage with or make any financial commitments to such scams.
