The Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe Teacher Initiative, spearheaded by the Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, is making a notable impact across the district by supporting 39 schools with a combined enrollment of 8,829 pupils and 137 teachers.

Under the initiative, monthly financial support amounting to GHS 84,240 is provided to beneficiary schools, bringing the total disbursement to GHS 589,680 over a seven-month period.

Beneficiary institutions include Agyedum D/A, Obing Methodist Primary, Chichiso No. 2, among others. Depending on staff strength and pupil enrollment, each school receives between GHS 8,400 and GHS 22,400 over the seven months.

The initiative is aimed at promoting quality education and providing targeted support to teachers, in recognition of their critical role in shaping the future of the district’s children.

The sustained commitment demonstrated through this intervention is widely commendable and is expected to yield lasting educational and social benefits for communities across Amenfi Central.
