A new opinion poll conducted by Global InfoAnalytics ahead of the impending Kpandai parliamentary rerun has placed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Mathew Nyindam, in a commanding lead.

According to the poll, released on Sunday, December 14, 2025, Nyindam is projected to secure 50 per cent of the total valid votes if the election were held at the time of the survey.

His closest contender, Daniel Nsala Wakpal, garnered 46 per cent voter support, suggesting a tightly contested race between the two leading candidates. Meanwhile, 3 per cent of respondents indicated they were undecided, while 1 per cent expressed support for other candidates.

The findings suggest a marginal but significant advantage for the New Patriotic Party candidate, as the rerun approaches, with analysts noting that the undecided voters could still influence the final outcome.

The Kpandai rerun was ordered following electoral disputes arising from the December 7 parliamentary elections, prompting heightened political activity and intensified campaigning by the major parties in the constituency.

While the poll positions Nyindam as the frontrunner, Global InfoAnalytics cautioned that voter sentiment remains fluid and could shift depending on turnout levels, campaign effectiveness, and developments in the final days before the vote.
