The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park will be closed to the public on Saturday, December 27, 2025, to allow for internal operational activities, management has announced.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, December 10, the Park’s management urged the public and stakeholders to take note of the one-day closure when planning their visits.

“The Management of Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park wishes to inform the general public, cherished visitors, and all partners that the Park will be closed to the public on Saturday, 27th December 2025,” the statement said.

According to management, the temporary shutdown is necessary to facilitate internal arrangements aimed at maintaining standards at the historic facility.

“This brief closure is part of our internal operational arrangements, during which the Park will not be accessible to visitors,” the release explained.

“Regular operations will resume on Sunday, 28th December 2025, and we look forward to welcoming visitors back from that day onward,” it added.

The Acting Executive Director of the Park, Dr. Collins R. Nunyonaweh, expressed regret over any inconvenience caused and appealed for public cooperation.

“Management sincerely apologises for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause. Your understanding and cooperation are deeply appreciated as we continue to uphold the standards and service experience that the Park is known for,” he stated.
