Africa’s digital transformation is reshaping industries and redefining the future of work. To build a truly inclusive and competitive economy, women must be prepared, empowered, and positioned to lead.

STEMinist Conference 2026 is designed to create that pathway. As Africa’s digital economy accelerates, creating millions of new opportunities in data, technology, and innovation, a bold movement is rising to ensure women are not left behind.

The STEMinist Conference 2026 is set to take place on 28th March 2026 under the theme, “Give to Gain: From Contribution to Career Growth – Women Leading in STEM.” This year’s conference highlights a powerful message: when women contribute their skills, ideas, and leadership to the digital ecosystem, they not only transform industries but also unlock accelerated career growth and lasting impact.

This year’s event will be held at the prestigious Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT in Accra.

Bringing together industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, and young women, the conference will focus on closing the gender gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), building in-demand digital skills, and connecting female talent to real opportunities within the digital economy.

Participants can expect inspiring keynote addresses from leading voices in technology and innovation; practical skill-building sessions in data, digital tools, and emerging technologies; career guidance, mentorship, and growth-focused conversations; and networking sessions connecting young women with employers and ecosystem leaders.

The conference also aims to inspire confidence, spark ambition, and provide tangible pathways for women to thrive in high-growth sectors. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders across education, industry, and innovation, the event seeks to accelerate inclusive growth and ensure women play a central role in shaping Africa’s digital future.

STEMinist Conference 2026 is open to students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone passionate about advancing women’s participation in technology and innovation.
