The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has elected Kojo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, Henry Nana Boakye, known as Nana B, and Nana Akomea as its three National Vice Chairpersons.
The three were elected during the party’s National Delegates Conference held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday, October 3, 2026, following changes to the party’s leadership structure to accommodate three national vice-chairmanship positions.
Kojo Bamba emerged as the First National Vice Chairman after polling 3,116 votes in a contest involving 13 candidates.
Henry Nana Boakye secured the Second National Vice Chairman position with 3,061 votes, while Nana Akomea was elected Third National Vice Chairman with 2,981 votes.
The newly elected officers are expected to play key roles in strengthening the party’s organisational structures, coordinating its national activities and improving its regional representation.
Kojo Bamba enters the position with considerable support from the party’s grassroots, while Nana B brings experience from his previous service as the NPP’s National Youth Organiser, a role that connected him to the party’s youth and student networks, including the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON).
Nana Akomea, a seasoned politician and communication strategist, previously served as the party’s Director of Communications and has been a prominent figure in its public messaging and political engagement.
The creation of three distinct national vice-chairmanship positions is intended to broaden representation within the party’s leadership and strengthen the coordination of its organisational responsibilities.
The new leadership team will work alongside National Chairman-elect John Boadu and re-elected General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua as the NPP begins its next phase of reorganisation.
