The Northern Regional Division of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) Northern Region embarked on a blood donation exercise at the Dabokpa Technical Institute in Tamale.

The donated blood will be stored at Tamale SDA hospital.

He added that it’s a yearly activity for the food and drug authorities to give back to society, and as this month is breast cancer awareness month, they sought to help the SDA hospital blood bank with about 200 pounds of blood.

Abi Wisdom, who is a resident, spoke to the media, urging all residents to always help save lives by donating blood.
