The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the deployment of 13,700 trained teachers from accredited teacher training colleges to various educational institutions across the country for the 2025/2026 national service period.

In a press release issued by the NSA, Director-General Felix Gyamfi emphasized the critical role of national service in Ghana’s education sector.

“The NSA commits to strengthening partnerships with the Ghana Education Service, CHASS, and private schools around the country to minimise the shortfalls in learning outcomes, especially in rural communities,” he stated.

The deployed service personnel are required to log onto the NSA website (www.nss.gex.gh) to check their placements and print their appointment letters, which must be endorsed by their designated user agencies.

According to the NSA, all personnel must begin their service on April 2, 2025. Meanwhile, regional validation processes at all NSA Regional Centres will run from March 26, 2025, to April 11, 2025.

The statement also reminded the public of the legal obligation to undertake national service. “Per the National Service Authority (Act 1119) 2024, every Ghanaian citizen who has attained the age of eighteen (18) years or more and has completed an accredited tertiary institution is MANDATED to undertake national service to the State,” the release emphasized.
