The Ghana School of Law entrance examination, which was to be written at 10 am on Friday, September 23, 2022, has reportedly leaked, culminating in a rescheduling of the paper from 10am to 1.30pm.
A copy of the paper labelled “ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR ADMISSION INTO THE PROFESSIONAL LAW COURSE 2022” was being circulated on a number of social platforms hours before the 1 hr 30 min paper was due.
Although the Independent Examination Committee of the General Legal Council, supervisors of the exams, has not formally responded to the rumors of a leakage, The Sikaman Times can report that the examinations did not come on as scheduled after hours of deliberations.
The Sikaman Times can state, however, that the paper has been rescheduled to 1.30pm today.
Last month, the committee cancelled the Civil Procedure paper at the School of Law because it was alleged to have leaked hours before it was scheduled to be written.
Reacting to the news of the leakage, Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor, member of parliament for South Dayi, who is a lawyer, has called for the head of members of the Independent Examinations Committee.
In many jurisdictions of some report, this is grounds for massive resignations but not here. Consistently recently, exams set by IEC leaks & yet they don't want to be accountable.
