The New Patriotic Party is set to launch its plans and programs that it seeks to execute if its mandate is renewed.
Ahead of the launch at 1pm at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi on Sunday, a walk and mini-rally were held on Saturday, August 17th, in a bid to renew the confidence of party supporters a few months before the December 7 election.
During the rally, various speakers, including the party’s running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, took turns to persuade supporters and sympathisers not to bring back former President John Mahama into office, citing corruption, mismanagement, and a lack of progress.
The manifesto is likely to reveal cost-cutting measures and job creation strategies by the Bawumia administration, sources close to Bawumia’s campaign have revealed.
The Vice President is also expected to announce his broad, multi-sectorial digitalisation agenda for the country to achieve efficiency in public service delivery.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, 1st and 2nd ladies, party executives, and other party big shots are anticipated to attend the event.
