Accra Floods: Lands Commission Premises Affected
SharePostSendShareSend

Last Saturday’s heavy downpour led to the flooding of the premises of the Head Offices of the Lands Commission in Cantonments, Accra.

On Monday, officers and janitors were seen busily drying up files, documents, and sundry IT equipment.

The Sikaman Times’ sources at the Commission revealed that a near flooding situation happened some few years ago. According to them, the extent of yesterday’s flooding was unusual, although they were quick to point out new structures which have sprung up around the commision building as the likely cause.

Meanwhile, the commission is yet to officially comment on the situation

An over 6 hour rainfall which hit the capital on Saturday has been figured to be one of the worst in recent years.
