Basic schools to resume on Friday – GES
SharePostSendShareSend

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has declared Thursday, March 7, 2024, as a holiday for basic education children across the country.

It thus directed all basic schools to re-commence teaching and learning on Friday, March 8, 2024.

GES said in a statement on Wednesday that the postponement is as a result of schoolchildren who participated in the Independence Day anniversary celebrations.

“This is to enable them to have some rest after vigorously preparing for the Independence Day Anniversary Parade.”

“Schools resume on Friday, March 8, 2024. All parents and guardians are therefore to take  note,” the statement read.
