The Centre for Financial Literacy Education Africa (CFLE Africa) has been recognised for its outstanding commitment to corporate governance at the 6th Institute of Directors (IoD) Ghana Corporate Governance Excellence Awards.

The event, held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), also marked the launch of IoD’s 25th-anniversary celebrations.

CFLE Africa was awarded the Best Corporate Governance Compliant Award in the Consultancy Industry, a testament to its dedication to transparency, ethical leadership, and excellence in governance. The accolade highlights CFLE Africa’s efforts in promoting financial awareness and literacy education across Ghana and the African continent.

“We are incredibly honoured to receive this recognition,” said CFLE Africa in a statement. “This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to fostering trust, accountability, and sustainable growth in all that we do.”

The award was received on behalf of the organisation by its Executive Director, Mr. Peter Kwadwo Nyarko, and advisory board member, Mr. Daniel Ofori-Dankwa.

CFLE Africa expressed gratitude to its advisory board, dedicated team, partners, volunteers, and beneficiaries for their support and inspiration in raising the standards of financial literacy and governance.

The IoD Ghana Corporate Governance Excellence Awards celebrate organisations and individuals who demonstrate exemplary governance practices, contributing to sustainable growth and development in Ghana’s corporate sector.

The Centre for Financial Literacy Education Africa (CFLE Africa) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting financial literacy and education across the African continent. Its primary focus is on empowering individuals, especially youth, women, and marginalised groups, with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions. The organisation works to build financial inclusion, promote economic empowerment, and reduce poverty through financial education programs, workshops, and initiatives.
