The Ministry of Education has set August 23 to September 4, 2023, as the period in which 2023 BECE candidates can select their preferred senior high schools under the school selection and placement system.

The Ministry said in a statement on Friday that prior to that, a video that demonstrates how the selection should be done will be shown in the respective schools of all candidates on arranged dates and times. The video would also be featured on national television.

The statement noted further that both the video and selection forms will be made available on the free senior high school website via www.freeshs.net.

Over 600,000 students who participated in this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination on Monday are expected to complete the exams today, August 11, 2023.
