President John Dramani Mahama will engage the nation in a Presidential Media Encounter on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Presidency. The event, scheduled for 8:00 p.m., will serve as a platform for the President to address pressing national issues and highlight progress under his Resetting Ghana Agenda.
A statement from the Presidency said the session would provide an avenue for the media to interact directly with the President on policies, ongoing projects, and other matters of public concern. Accredited journalists are expected to pose questions covering a wide range of subjects affecting the country.
“The encounter will provide a unique platform for President Mahama to engage the Ghanaian people, through the media, on pressing national issues, his Resetting Ghana Agenda, policies and ongoing projects,” the statement read.
The Presidency added that participation will be strictly based on accreditation.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister for Government Communications and Spokesperson to the President, said the administration looks forward to “a productive and engaging session with the media.”
This will be the President’s first major media engagement since assuming office in January 2025.
