Police arrest 2 for mounting ramp on the Ho-Sogakope highway without authorisation

The Ghana Police Service has arrested two individuals for unlawfully damaging a section of the road at Adidome Atsefo on the Ho-Sogakope highway, purportedly to construct a speed ramp.

In a statement on Monday, January 15, 2024, the police referenced a video on social media where two people, in the company of others, were seen damaging the asphalted highway with concrete blocks.

The statement identified the names of the two suspects as Saviour Azakasi and Quarshie Godson.

According to the statement, the two suspects are currently in custody, assisting with investigations, and efforts are underway to get the other suspects arrested.
