Journalist Paul Adom Otchere has been released by the Office of the Special Prosecutor on bail after meeting the bail conditions.

The OSP in a statement on Friday noted that it has agreed to revised bail conditions for Mr Paul Adom‑Otchere, the former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL).

The OSP said the new terms had been put forward by Mr Adom‑Otchere’s legal team and “meet the objectives of the original bail conditions.”

It confirmed that the Jospong Group of Companies is acting as surety under the revised arrangement.

However, the OSP stressed that “the matter remains under active investigation.”

Mr Adom‑Otchere was earlier charged alongside two others in connection with an ongoing probe into GACL affairs.
