Peter Asare Nyarko, the Executive Director of the Centre for Financial Literacy Africa (CFLE Africa), has been named one of the top 50 leaders in financial literacy and inclusion for 2024 under the prestigious “MAIA Money Changers” list.

The Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards (MAIA) Money Changers list celebrates individuals and organisations driving significant advancements in reshaping financial literacy and inclusion worldwide.

The awards recognise extraordinary leaders across diverse fields, from national bank governors and researchers to grassroots community champions.

“These are the people we want to thank, who we want to acknowledge and promote for making the most positive difference to money this year,” MAIA announced.

Peter Asare Nyarko, who has been instrumental in promoting financial literacy across Africa, expressed his gratitude following the announcement.

“I want to thank the team, advisory board, partners, volunteers, and everyone involved in the operation and activities of CFLE Africa and PKAN Consulting Inc.,” Peter said.

Reflecting on the journey so far, he added, “We are working to significantly improve financial awareness and financial literacy education.”
