Poem: “Let Go” by Reynold Adjei

LET GO

Is there someone you’re holding in your heart?? Are you harbouring bitterness and refusing to let go?? Is it a breach of trust that’s left you shattered or a slander that’s left your identity in crisis making you unwilling to forgive and move on??

Whatever it is, let go. Let go because you need to be free . Let go because you need your Heavenly Father to hear you when you call unto Him. Let go because bitterness is one of the fastest causes of death due to hypertension and blood pressure. Let go because the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies are new every morning.

Let go because you’re also not perfect and you’ll need forgiveness at one point or another. Let go because everyone including you is a work in progress. Let go because the more you hold on to anger and bitterness and refuse to forgive, the greater the gap you create between you and your Maker.

So let go and let God. Let go because refusing to let go will land you in hell. There are many souls whose destinies are attached to yours and it’s crucial that you’re right with God so as you walk in the fulfillment of your destiny, their lives are blessed. Therefore do the needful now. God bless.
