The third edition of the National Financial Awareness and Financial Literacy Conference will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, under the theme “Building Wealth, Changing Lives – Strengthening Communities Through Personal & Business Financial Education.”

The conference is being organized by the Centre for Financial Literacy Education Africa (CFLE Africa), under the leadership of Peter Asare Nyarko, in collaboration with the Ghana Association of Banks (GAB). The event is scheduled to take place at the ISSER Conference Center, University of Ghana, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

This year’s gathering will convene speakers and participants from the financial, academic, and business sectors to promote financial literacy as a means of supporting personal and national development.

John Awuah, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Association of Banks, will deliver the keynote address. He will be joined by Professor Enoch Opoku Antwi, Dean of Business, Entrepreneurship and Communication Studies at Academic City University, and Dr. Eric Boakye Yiadom, Senior Lecturer at the University of Professional Studies, who will offer academic insights into financial empowerment and wealth creation.

Other confirmed speakers include Professor Paul Onyina, Associate Professor of Economics at Pentecost University, and Rhamat Ebella Whajah, Zonal Head (Accra-Tema) of the National Investment Bank.

The lineup also features Reindolf Annor, Partner at KPMG Ghana; Mimi Anane Appiah, Business Development Manager at Fidelity Securities; Gilbert Yirenkyi Addo, Senior Manager at Deloitte; and Seyram Aku Ofori-Atta, Co-founder of Investment Friend.

The 2025 conference aims to provide practical knowledge on personal finance, investment, and financial planning, while encouraging discussions that contribute to community development and economic well-being. Attendees—expected from various backgrounds including students, entrepreneurs, professionals, and policymakers—will have the opportunity to participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and networking activities designed to enhance financial capability.

Registration is currently open and can be completed via bit.ly/NFAFLCon2025.
