GOIL investigates alleged fuel pump tampering at Atimpoku Station

Management of GOIL PLC has reacted to allegations of fuel pump tampering at its Atimpoku service station, which have been circulating on social media.
In a notice to customers on October 14, 2024, GOIL stated, “We strongly condemn such practices, take these allegations seriously, and have launched a thorough investigation into the matter.

“We will provide an update to the public once the investigation is complete,” the notice added.

GOIL affirmed that, in line with its procedures, the calibration of all dispensing pumps at its service stations has been verified by its Quality Control and Assurance Team. “We can confirm that the pumps are delivering accurately,” the statement added.

The company assured its customers and the public of its commitment to providing quality products at service stations nationwide.
