I am the one Ghanaians can trust in 2024 elections – Kyerematen

The flagbearer for the Movement for Change, Alan John Kyerematen, has charged his followers to vote for him as president and vote for any of the other parliamentary candidates in the upcoming general elections.

Mr. Kyerematen believes that the two major political parties, the NDC and NPP, have brought little or no development to the governance of the country, hence the need for a new face to lead the country.

According to the former leading member of the NPP, he is the best candidate Ghanaians can trust in the next general elections.

Mr. Kyerematen gave this charge at the GNAT Hall in Accra on Thursday, November 8, 2023, when he engaged with hundreds of volunteers from his movement.

He contended that the two candidates vying for president in the 2024 elections have already had opportunities to better the lot of Ghanaians but have failed.

“We know the former president, John Dramani Mahama, has been president and couldn’t do much for this country. Last Saturday, the NPP held its special delegates congress, where they chose Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the NPP in the coming elections. But if there are any flaws with the current government, we all know that Dr. Bawumia can never be taken out because he is the vice president and is part of the economic management team, and cannot be left out when Akufo-Addo is chastised,” he stressed.

He said his party is built on the spirit of volunteerism and has, on that note, asked his followers to go all out to vote massively for him come December 2024 and to speak to others to vote for him as well.

Mr. Kyerematen resigned from the NPP after the first round of the presidential primaries, citing unfair treatment by party executives over the years.
