Across Ghana, more women are stepping into entrepreneurship and technology, but many still face barriers such as limited access to mentorship, digital skills, and business networks. Bridging that gap is Sherise Ghana, a growing platform focused on empowering women entrepreneurs through technology, training, and collaboration.
Founded with the vision of promoting inclusive entrepreneurship, Sherise Ghana provides women with the tools and support needed to transform ideas into sustainable businesses. Operating at the intersection of technology, enterprise development, and personal growth, the organisation has created a supportive ecosystem where women can learn, build, and scale their ventures.
Central to Sherise Ghana’s work are practical learning opportunities designed to equip women with both technical and entrepreneurial skills. Through its innovation hub and training programs, participants gain access to coding workshops, digital business tools, and entrepreneurship training aimed at strengthening their ability to compete in a fast-evolving digital economy.
Beyond training, Sherise Ghana connects participants with mentors, industry leaders, and potential investors. These relationships help emerging entrepreneurs refine their ideas, access funding opportunities, and build confidence as business leaders.
Two flagship initiatives illustrate the organisation’s commitment to nurturing female talent.
The SheCreative Program focuses on building entrepreneurial mindsets and helping women develop structured and sustainable businesses. The initiative combines mentorship, training, and networking opportunities to support women in turning creative talents into profitable ventures.
The programme is particularly targeting women in the fashion and beauty sectors. Due to strong interest from applicants, Sherise Ghana has extended the application deadline for the SheCreative – Fashion & Beauty Business Accelerator to March 20, 2026.
The five-week accelerator will help participants define their niche and ideal clients, create structured and profitable offers, build a strong brand identity, and use digital tools to attract and manage customers while improving their online visibility.

In addition, the SheCodes for Impact programme focuses on digital innovation. The eight-week practical training equips recent computer science graduates with skills in digital solution design, minimum viable product (MVP) development, AI-powered tools, business process automation, and agile collaboration.
The initiative is designed to help aspiring women developers gain hands-on experience, build portfolios, and prepare for careers in technology and digital product development.
Applications for the programme have also been extended to March 20, 2026.

Together, these initiatives reflect a broader effort to ensure women are not only participants in Ghana’s growing digital economy but leaders shaping it.
As interest continues to grow, Sherise Ghana’s model demonstrates how targeted mentorship, practical skills training, and strong networks can unlock new opportunities for women entrepreneurs across the country.
