Nova Impact Africa has partnered with Expertise France for the 2026 edition of the Ghana Youth Tech Summit (GYTS), with funding support from the European Union in Ghana.
Speaking on behalf of Expertise France, Ammishaddai Ofori, Deputy Project Manager, Digital and Innovation Unit at GDI-PSD, highlighted three key objectives of the partnership: showcasing the project’s impact, connecting with young innovators, and creating awareness of opportunities for young entrepreneurs to explore and pursue.
Commenting on this year’s summit theme, “Building What’s Next: Youth Driving Innovation and Inclusive Growth,” Mr. Ofori emphasised the evolving role of young people in shaping Ghana’s digital and technological landscape.
“We are no longer passive programme beneficiaries or future participants waiting for our turn; we are the initiators, problem-solvers, and co-creators shaping the digital and technological ecosystem today. It is about recognising youth not merely as recipients of support, but as the architects designing homegrown solutions that solve practical economic and community challenges.”
Celestina Aidoo, Executive Director of Nova Impact, welcomed the partnership, noting that it would help bring together key stakeholders around a shared vision for Ghana’s digital and inclusive future.
The Ghana Youth Tech Summit will take place on Saturday, 7 November 2026, at the Cedi Conference Centre, University of Ghana, Legon, under the theme “Building What’s Next: Youth Driving Innovation and Inclusive Growth.”
The summit will bring together young people, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, policymakers, businesses, and development partners to explore how innovation and technology can drive inclusive economic growth.
The summit will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, masterclasses, a Career Hub, the Founders Series, exhibitions, and the Nova Venture Pitch, providing opportunities for participants to build skills, connect with industry leaders, explore career pathways, and showcase innovative solutions.
